Puan Nashrah read law at the University of Kent, England. She is a Barrister-at -Law and a member of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn, London. She was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in June, 1987.

Having been in practice for 38 years, she is one of the longest serving advocate and solicitor attached to the firm of Messrs. Soo Thien Ming & Nashrah, next to the firm’s founder, Mr. Soo Thien Ming, who passed away in August,2023.

Her main areas of practice are conveyancing, real estate, banking and finance. She advises and acts for various financial institutions relating to securities for the financing corporate working capital, trade, acquisition of assets, and bridging. She also acts for and advises developers in different areas of the law affecting project development (both residential and commercial) including drawing up their sale and purchase agreements. In relation to real estate, she has acted for numerous clients, both corporations and individuals, in the sale and acquisition of immovable properties, tenancy and leasing related matters.

Puan Nashrah is also currently the Vice-Chairman of the Executive Committee of Messrs. Soo Thien Ming & Nashrah.
