Ng Soo Chen completed her legal studies at University of Malaya in 1989 and was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 1990. She began her career with Messrs Soo Thien Ming & Nashrah, where she has practised since, steadily establishing herself as a trusted adviser in the banking and finance sector.

With more than three decades of experience, she has acted for numerous financial institutions and corporate clients on a wide range of commercial and corporate banking matters. Her work spans the full lifecycle of financing transactions, including contract financing, project financing, and corporate banking for private corporations and public listed companies. She regularly assists clients in structuring, drafting and negotiating financing and security documentation and is recognised for her practical understanding of both legal and commercial considerations.

Beyond banking and finance, she also advises extensively on real estate transactions. Her experience includes preparing, reviewing, and negotiating sale and purchase agreements and providing clients with clear guidance on property-related legal issues.
